فتحت الشرطة الهندية تحقيقاً بحق 5 من عناصرها يُشتبه في تناولهم معجنات سمبوسة كانت محضَّرة لتقديمها لمسؤول سياسي محلي، وفق ما أفادت تقارير إعلامية.
ووفق «وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية»، وقع الحادث، الشهر الماضي، خلال زيارة قام بها الرئيس التنفيذي لولاية هيماشال براديش (شمال)، سوخافيندر سينغ سوخو، إلى المقر الإقليمي لإدارة التحقيقات الجنائية، الشرطة القضائية المحلية.
وكان مضيفوه قد خططوا لتقديم السمبوسة للوزير، وهي قِطع صغيرة لذيذة من اللحم أو الخضر المغطاة بالعجين تشكّل طعاماً محبباً لملايين الهنود.
لكن في ظروفٍ تهدف التحقيقات إلى توضيحها، جرى التهام قِطع السمبوسة المذكورة من جانب 5 من عناصر الشرطة قبل أن تُعرَض على الوزير.
وفي ظل التساؤلات عما إذا كان ما حصل خطأ بسيطاً أم خطوة متعمدة، وصفت إدارة التحقيقات الجنائية الحادثة، في تقرير لها، بأنها «عمل موجه ضد الحكومة».
وأشارت الوثيقة، التي نشرت مضمونها صحيفة «إيكونوميك تايمز»، إلى أن «هذا التقرير يلحظ أيضاً أن الموظفين المعنيين تصرفوا بمبادرة منهم، وسط قلق من حصول خطأ متعمد».
وقالت صحيفة «إنديان إكسبريس» إن عناصر الشرطة الخمسة جرى استدعاؤهم من رؤسائهم؛ لاستيضاح موقفهم مما حصل. وينبغي لهم المثول أمام رؤسائهم، مع إمكان اتخاذ إجراءات تأديبية في حقهم.
