صدر اليوم الملحق الخاص بمناسبة افتتاح متحف السيارات السلطانية في قصر البركة العامر، متضمنًا الكلمة السامية لحضرة صاحب الجلالة السلطان هيثم بن طارق المعظم -حفظه الله ورعاه-. وجاء في نص الكلمة:
“يطيب لنا في هذا اليوم افتتاح أبواب متحف السيارات السلطانية بقصر البركة العامر حرصًا منّا على إتاحة المجال للمواطنين والمهتمين بعالم السيارات لزيارة هذا المتحف والاطلاع على ما يحويه من معروضات.
لقد أنشأ المغفور له بإذن الله السلطان قابوس بن سعيد – طيب الله ثراه – هذا المتحف، حيث وضع لبناته الأساسية، وسعينا إلى استمرار النهج ذاته في الحفاظ على موجوداته ومحتوياته، ورفده بما يتوافق ورسالته ليكون وجهة جاذبة تستقطب محبي عالم السيارات والمهتمين بها، وكُل شغوف بهذا المجال.
وإننا نأمل أن يحقق هذا التحف إضافةً للمشهد الثقافي والحضاري العُماني راجين أن تُكلَّل جهود القائمين عليه بالتوفيق والسداد في سبيل إنجاح رؤيته وأهدافه، والله ولي التوفيق.”
ويُعد افتتاح هذا المتحف خطوة مهمة في تعزيز المشهد الثقافي والحضاري للسلطنة، وفرصة لاستكشاف تاريخ السيارات السلطانية وما تحمله من قيمة ثقافية وتاريخية مميزة.
