اسرائيل تنتهي من تدمير ” أكبر ” أنفاق حماس
أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي، أمس الثلاثاء، أنه أكمل تدمير وإغلاق أكبر نفق لحركة حماس على الإطلاق.
وبحسب “تايمز أوف إسرائيل”، تم تفجير أجزاء من النفق من قبل المهندسين القتاليين، بينما قام الجيش الإسرائيلي بضخ الخرسانة في الممرات المتبقية تحت الأرض.
ويمتد النفق الذي تم اكتشافه في 16 ديسمبر الفائت، حوالي أربعة كيلومترات بعمق 50 مترا تحت الأرض في بعض المناطق ويبدو أنه واسع بما يكفي لمرور المركبات من خلاله.
وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان، إن زعيم حركة حماس في غزة يحيى السنوار وأخيه شاركا في عملية إنشاء هذا النفق بشكل مباشر، حيث أشرفا على عمليات التخطيط.
واستثمرت حماس بكثافة في الأنفاق لأنها لا تملك الموارد أو الأعداد اللازمة لمحاربة الجيش الإسرائيلي في حرب تقليدية، وتستخدم الحركة الأنفاق كقواعد عسكرية وترسانات، وتعتمد عليها لتحريك قواتها دون أن يتم كشفها وحماية كبار قادتها.
وأظهرت إحدى وثائق عام 2022 أن حماس خصصت ميزانية قدرها مليون دولار لأبواب الأنفاق وورش العمل تحت الأرض.
