دشنت وزارة التراث والسياحة مركز الإرشاد السياحي بالواجهة البحرية بولاية مطرح بمحافظة مسقط والذي سيسهم بدوره في تقديم المعلومات السياحية وتعريف الزوار بأهم المواقع التراثية والوجهات والأنماط السياحية المختلفة التي تزخر بها سلطنة عُمان.
كما يقوم المركز بالرد على استفسارات السياح وعرض الخدمات التي يوفرها القطاع السياحي من حيث المنشآت الفندقية والمؤسسات المنظمة للجولات السياحية وغيرها من الخدمات.
